Topshop stores host fundraising events for National Domestic Violence Helpline
During Spring / Summer 2006 selected local Topshop stores will be hosting a range of exciting fundraising events in order to raise money for local domestic violence services and the Freephone 24 hour National Domestic Violence Helpline (run in partnership between Women’s Aid and Refuge).
Four initial Topshop stores in Birmingham, Portsmouth, Trafford and Derby have teamed up with local refuges to organise a series of events, ranging from pampering days to art exhibitions.
Birmingham
On Wednesday 19th April, Topshop Birmingham will be holding an in-store pampering day, with Estee Lauder, Umberto Giannini and Origins will give complimentary treatments and Topshop Style Advisors will be on hand to offer fashion advice in return for a donation. A live acoustic band will also be playing throughout the day to add to the fun!
Portsmouth
Topshop Portsmouth will be doing its bit on Friday 28th April, with an After Hours Style Evening taking place when the store closes at 6pm. Local beauty salons and hairdressers will be giving complimentary treatments in return for donations and a raffle will be held for an array of prizes that have been kindly donated by local businesses.
Manchester
An art exhibition has been arranged by Topshop Trafford Centre, Manchester to take place in the evening of Sunday 30th April at Cobieres Wine Bar in St. Anne’s Square, Manchester. Art will be on display throughout the evening and customers will have the opportunity to purchase pieces, with a percentage of the sale price being donated. Tickets for the event cost £10 with a goody bag and complimentary glass of wine included. Tickets can be purchased in-store.
Derby
It’s an early start on Wednesday 3rd May, when Topshop Derby will be hosting an early morning pampering event in-store between 8am and 12pm. Local beauty salons and hairdressers will give complimentary treatments and a local juice and smoothie company will be offering delicious complimentary drinks in return for donations. A raffle will be held to win prizes kindly donated by local businesses and style advisors will be on hand to offer advice.
