Last Chance to sign up for the Hydro Active Women’s Challenge for Refuge

The race is on for the last few places for Refuge runners in this year’s 5km Hydro Active Women’s Challenge as registration closes on August 17. The annual women-only event will take place in London’s Hyde Park on Sunday, September 16 and this year Refuge will be represented by almost 100 runners – its biggest team ever.

The course is suitable for all abilities – Refuge team-members will be walking, jogging and running their way around – and is a great fun way to raise vital funds for Refuge’s life-saving services.

One in four women experience domestic violence in their lifetimes – it could be your mother, sister, daughter or best friend. Refuge already helps 900 women everyday, but with your help we could do even more to reach women and children who desperately need help.

The registration deadline (August 17, 2007) is coming up fast, so sign-up today to guarantee your place. Entry costs £15 of which £5 (plus any sponsorship you raise) will go to Refuge.

Runners will receive:

• A comprehensive sponsorship pack full of information about Refuge and great tips to kickstart your fundraising
• A Refuge team running vest
• Training guides
• Support every step of the way
