Independent Domestic Violence Advocate – Lambeth
Refuge, is the country’s largest specialist provider of domestic violence services for women and children escaping domestic violence. We have the following opportunity for high calibre, committed female* applicants.
£26,334 per annum includes Inner London Weighting
Fixed term until 31st March, 2011
In this exciting partnership-based service, you will provide court-based independent advocacy and support to survivors of domestic violence who are accessing the civil and criminal justice systems in Lambeth. You will work with survivors from the point of crisis, assisting them through the court process and offering intensive support to help ensure short and long-term safety.
If you have an experience of providing support to women within a community-based setting, an understanding of the issues facing survivors of domestic violence and a detailed working knowledge of the civil and criminal justice systems then consider this fixed term opportunity to be part of a valuable team.
