Refuge Worker – Asian Communities – Derby

Full time : 35 hours per week

Salary: c. £19,000 per annum pro rata

You will assess the support and safety needs of South Asian women and their children who have experienced domestic violence and provide the practical and emotional support they need to rebuild their lives.

Do you have the excellent casework skills, good written and verbal communication skills as well as a working knowledge and understanding of welfare benefits as they relate to women fleeing domestic violence ?

You will be required to work as part of an on-call rota.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate experience of providing support to Asian women and should be able to speak at least one Asian language.
