Salary Circa £36,000 per annum
37.5 hours per week
Refuge has recently restructured some of its domestic violence services, having secured future funding with local authorities in south and west London. We are now looking for talented people to lead and manage these important services. You will be responsible for a portfolio of accommodation based and outreach services, often across more than one borough.
These roles require exceptional individuals who want to make a difference. You will have proven experience of managing and motivating staff as well as strong interpersonal and management skills. You must also have knowledge of domestic violence issues and experience of working in either women’s refuge or residential setting. A recognised social work, housing or management qualification would be desirable.
For the West London role, experience of providing support to Asian woman and knowledge of one Asian language are desirable.
For the South London role, experience of providing support to African and Caribbean women is desirable.
As member of the management team the postholder, will be required to be available to deal with out of hours emergencies.
