You will coordinate a team of peripatetic workers, whose roles are to fill gaps created in services by absence and annual leave, ensuring delivery of a high quality professional service to abused women living in our refuges and those who access our floating support services across all of our national sites. You will provide invaluable practical and emotional support to women and their children, such as advocacy, welfare, housing and legal entitlements, and support women to move on to safe and permanent accommodation.

You will have proven experience of providing direct emotional and practical support to women as well as experience in managing staff.  In addition to this you will have excellent casework skills, good written and verbal communication skills, clear professional boundaries and be a proactive team player.  A recognised social work/counselling or housing qualification would be desirable.

You will be required to work as part of an on-call rota.

An enhanced CRB is will be required for this role.
