We have the following opportunity for a talented finance professional.
Job Title: Operations Accountant REF: 040OPA
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: circa £38,000 to £41,000 depending on experience
Location: Tower Hill, London
Refuge is a high profile, national charity offering specialist services to women and children escaping domestic violence with an annual turnover of £10 million. We now have an exciting opportunity for an innovative finance professional to join us at a challenging but exciting time.
This role will be pivotal to the development of management accounting and reporting and is central to the delivery of Refuge’s business plan. Reporting to the head of finance and IT you will lead our experienced operations finance team to support the continued growth of the organisation during this period of financial constraint.
You will be an experienced finance professional, have extensive accounting and budgetary skills and have an impressive track record in financial management. You will have knowledge of Housing Benefit and Supporting People funding streams and understand local authority commissioning. You will have strong management skills and be an excellent communicator of complex financial information. Experience of working for a supported housing provider would also be an advantage.
