Stop the cover-up

Fact: a woman is beaten on average 35 times before she contacts the police

Society likes to pretend domestic violence doesn’t exist.

Woman with a bruise‘We can’t interfere, it’s a domestic.’

‘It only happens in deprived areas. Not in my street.’

Shocking truth is 1 woman in 4 experiences domestic violence at some point in her life. There is no typical victim. She could be your friend, a colleague, your sister. Trapped, petrified, alone and too ashamed to admit that it’s happening. Two women are killed each week by a current or former partner. Imagine having to live in fear in your own home.

Help us uncover the truth and stop domestic violence.
