Culturally specific services

Our culturally specific refuges aim to meet the needs of women from different ethnic communities and cultures.

Domestic violence occurs regardless of a woman’s race, culture, language or ethnic background. Refuge recognises that women from different ethnic backgrounds and cultures have varied and specific needs.

We offer a range of services to address those needs.

• Refuges for African and African Caribbean women.
• Refuge’s services for South Asian women.
• Community outreach projects for Vietnamese, Asian, Somali and Turkish women.
