BUPA London 10,000

Thank you to our 2010 team!

On 31 May 2010, over 30 individuals took to the streets of London in the BUPA London 10,000 10k to raise funds for Refuge. The runners covered a route which will form part of the 2012 Olympic Marathon course, and the fantastic team did Refuge proud as they sailed past some of London’s most famous landmarks. Thank you so much to all of our brilliant team!

Why Refuge?

One woman in four will experience domestic violence at some point in her lifetime so the likelihood is we all know someone who has been, or will be, affected.  Domestic violence is a serious crime that destroys lives but for nearly 40 years Refuge has been supporting the women and children fleeing the violence in their homes.   Your sponsorship will help Refuge reach out to even more women and children who desperately need support to rebuild their lives.
