Royal Parks Half Marathon

Royal Parks Half Marathon

Sunday 11th October 2009

Well done to our 2009 team!

Thank you to our 2009 runners!Well done and thank you to all of our runners who took part in the Royal Parks Half Marathon on 11 October 2009. It was a fantastic event – and a really beautiful setting to run 13.1 miles in! We are so proud of all of our runners for running this brilliant distance, and so grateful for all of the essential funds you raised. Thank you!

This was only the second year that this race has taken place, and it was already amazingly popular – public places for the 2009 event sold out in just 24 hours, and it’s not hard to see why. The serene course winds it way through four of London’s Royal Parks, starting and ending in Hyde Park and taking in some of the capitals most iconic views including Buckingham Palace, the Houses of Parliament, and the London Eye.

If you are keen to get involved in a half marathon in support of Refuge, how about the adidas Silverstone Half Marathon on 14 March 2010?Well done to our '09 runners
