Virgin London Marathon

Thank you to our fabulous 2011 Virgin London Marathon team!

On 17 April 2011, Refuge’s fabulous London Marathon team took to the streets of London to run the 26.2 miles of the world’s best marathon. It was a fantastic day with glorious weather and the crowds of supporters were out in force – the London Marathon truly has an unbeatable atmosphere!

Every Refuge runner, whether they are aiming to break a world record or just to drag themselves over the finish line, is an absolute hero in our eyes. We are so grateful to every single Refuge runner for taking on this amazing, once-in-a-lifetime challenge to support women and children escaping domestic violence.
