Set up a birthday fundraiser to raise money to help women and their children live their lives free from violence and fear and make your special day even more special.
It’s easy to get started, simply follow the steps below to get your birthday fundraiser started and start celebrating:
1. Set up your birthday fundraising page.
Setting up a Facebook fundraiser is easy to do. Simply register your details and get started. We will be in touch with tips and ideas to help your celebrations go even further for survivors of domestic abuse.
Not on Facebook? No worries! You can also fundraise through JustGiving.
2. Share your fundraiser with your loved ones and ask them to donate for your birthday.
Share your fundraising page on social media, at work or at your birthday celebrations and ask people to donate. You could ask people to donate the money they were planning on spending on buying you a gift this year, or ask them to do both!

Raising £52 through your birthday fundraiser could provide a woman and her children a safe night’s stay in a refuge.
