How is physical and emotional safety equally important for survivor recovery? Focused on our dispersed accommodation pilot, we will discuss how it differs from a traditional refuge and how it can benefit survivors who face additional barriers accessing refuges, who, without these vital spaces, may not have been able to flee from abuse safely.

Two out of three refuge residents are children who flee with their mothers. In this session, Refuge’s Senior Programme Manager will share how we are working with children, and families, affected by domestic abuse and the innovations the team is making to create even more tailored, practical support.
