If you’d like to make the challenge bigger you can even organise it throughout the month or put all the miles together in a one day challenge. The choice is entirely yours! Challenge FAQ’s
It’s a virtual challenge where we’re asking teams or groups to walk 4-Miles a day every day in the week leading up to International Women’s Day. This is to show solidarity with the 1 in 4 women who will experience domestic abuse in their lifetime.
This challenge is for corporate teams or community groups, such as walking groups. While it isn’t open to individuals, we are currently running a ‘Walk 62 Miles’ challenge that you’re welcome to join.
The challenge is completely flexible. Your team can distribute the miles however you like throughout the week, or you can walk all the miles in one day. If you want to, you can make the challenge even bigger by putting all the miles together in a one day challenge.

Fundraising
Once registered, we’ll guide you through setting up an online fundraising page. You can personalise it with your team name, photos, and your story to inspire donations.
We suggest setting a target of £1,000 per team of 10 or £100 per person taking part in order to receive exclusive goodies, but any amount you raise will make a huge difference!
Not to worry if you don’t meet your target. Every donation counts and goes directly toward helping survivors of domestic abuse.
Walking the miles
You can walk wherever you like, whether it’s a park, your neighbourhood or around a city.
No, your team can decide what works best. You can walk together or separately and combine your miles at the end of each day.
The challenge is focused on walking, but feel free to adapt it to your team’s abilities. For example, you can cycle or jog the equivalent distance.
Logistics
We’ve got a step tracker in our fundraising pack to help you keep on top of your miles.
That’s okay! The challenge is designed to be flexible. You can spread the miles across the month or complete them all in one day—whatever works for your group.
Absolutely, our team will be available throughout the challenge to answer any questions and cheer you on. You’ll also receive regular emails with tips and encouragement.
